Lash extension takes a lot of time, patience and love for the art. Surely, your clients frequently ask you: "Why does it take so long? My nail artist does her job in 30 minutes or so".
⠀
And you can explain to them why!
⠀
We have about 120 lashes on each eye. Let's do simple math. Take pre-treatment time, the extension itself, time for PROPER isolation, change of adhesive almost every 20-30 minutes, consultation before the procedure and some instructions after one. Equals 2 hours at least, unless you're a supersonic lash stylist, though.
⠀
Your client needs to understand that lash extension is art, not a regular cosmetology treatment. That's why it takes so much time and a great effort. You need to explain to your client that they have only one thing to choose. They either spend 2-3 hours of their time and get a high-quality extension, fancy design without damage of natural lashes and confidence as a result, or they spend only 30 minutes and get very bad and damaging results, which will require a full removal and re-extension anyway (this takes additional 2-3 hours, by the way.
⠀
Lash extension brooks no rush. That's what you should convince your clients in. Calmly and professionally.
