why do lashes twist?
Of course, you have seen these lash "traitors" which start to "look down" after 2-3 weeks.
Why is it so?
Lashes go through some stages in their lifetime like all body hair. They're born, they grow and they fall out. When we do lashes we leave the little indentation from eyelids and the direction of natural and artificial lashes are the same. But over time the natural lash starts to grow, the indentation between the artificial lash and the eyelid becomes bigger and under its own weight it twists.
That's why it's important to check lashes for stickies after the lash extension. If they're poorly isolated and they stick together the twisted lash can bring other lashes with it. It causes the client's discomfort and spoils the whole image of lashes.
