How to isolate lashes during eyelash extension
Special hydrogel or silicon eyepatches are used to secure the lower lashes, their soft frame making the procedure as comfortable as possible for the client. When applying the eyepatch always make sure it's not too close to the eye mucosa, otherwise even the softest patch will cause your client discomfort.
Eye patches for lash extension by RQL
To fixate the patch's edges better you may use sticky medical tape, but never use it instead of eye patches as it will cause discomfort for your clients. Never use eyepatches that contain cellular fiber (cotton, linen, wool). When fibers come in contact with glue it triggers a powerful exothermic reaction that produces large amounts of heat.

Moreover, you should be very careful with the type of tape used. If you don't want to cut your client's sclera, use only soft Japanese tape!
